Have been dealing with them for nearly a year through our home warranty company Old Republic. We have a basement home and the toilet and tub had been backing up. My mother lived down there and several times they couldn't come out for 3-4 days leaving fecal matter in the toilet and my poor mother downstairs. She is elderly and had to come up a 2nd flight of stairs to use the bathroom but in the meantime had to smell the fecal matter from the bathroom. After many visits it was determined through the lens of the camera that there was some type of gap on the seal and toilet paper was getting stuck in the gap causing the back up. They mentioned to properly fix the problem it would require ripping up the tub, toilet, floor etc.. which would be costly and intense work, likely a $4k repair. it was suggested that perhaps what would work is a new toilet with faster hydraulics' causing the paper to push through the gap not getting stuck. this would cost about $800.00. It was not a guarantee that this would work but perhaps a viable solution at a fraction of the cost. They cleared the line before replacing the toilet. the Toilet flushs and so does the tub. I did not do these repairs until my mom moved out. 2 weeks after the toilet was replaced my cleaning lady said the sink in the living area was backing up. I called Just Plumbing, it took over a month to schedule. they came out last week and he said he couldn't clear the line because he'd have to bring a piece of heavy equipment through my entire home and it was dirty, and we have white carpet. He said he would come back with a hand held device instead. 2 days after the visit Amber called to schedule for today between 3 and 7. 450pm they left a message saying they weren't coming because it was part of the same problem. Well if it is part of the same problem, they didn't clear the line because we never tested the sink in the den, I have never used the toilet or tub since the replacement. this means it should have been cleared initially and tested. I am so fed up, they have come out so many times and they aren't flexible with scheduling. all I ask is to come before 500pm but they always schedule for the evening and call at 700pm to say they are an hour away. who wants someone coming out at 800pm for plumbing? If this doesn't get resolved I plan on getting a lawyer. I have never used the bathroom, sink or tub since the replacement so this isn't part of the same problem since it hasn't been used. It's obvious it wasn't completely fixed.
Super mad in Chandler.
