  • I'm a pretty big fan of coffee. Real talk: I love coffee. I also work remotely, so am always looking for a good place to get work done and get my coffee fix. Smooth Brew fits my needs! When I moved down the street 3 years ago, i kept hoping a drive thru coffee joint would open nearby so I could hit it up quickly on my way to work. Finally my wishes were answered. The plus is the inside holds cozy chairs, couches, and many tables where I can work (because I'm not going to get my work done from home as much as I try to tell myself I will). Oh, and there's free wifi for when we leave our jet packs in our other bag. Let me get back to what you came to read about, the coffee. I've been trying to work my way down the menu. I'm a big fan of iced coffee - and I add coconut milk and no sweeteners - perfect! My favorite drink (when I'm not worrying about calories) is the iced tres leches. So smooth and delicious. If you like sweet, the red velvet is your drink. I enjoyed the salted caramel truffle and think that will be my warm go to drink this winter. I had an iced panda which tasted exactly how I like my iced coffee (which is weird since I generally don't add chocolate to my coffee). On a super hot day, the coffee chiller was a perfect treat. Yummmmm. I also like to eat... sometimes healthy. Smooth Brew has smoothies! I've only had the green monster, since I'm a big fan of drinking my vegetables and this one is made with superfood kale (but I can't taste it - I just taste deliciousness). I've also tried the high maintenance bowl - quinoa, black beans, sweet potatoes and some other yummy stuff. They even have sriracha sauce. This is so perfect for me since I'm allergic to eggs and generally can not have most of the pastries or snacks at other coffee shops. My coworker had the turkey breakfast sandwich one morning and said it was so good. Everyone that works here is friendly and pleasant and knew my name by the 3rd time I came in. I'm so happy this is nearby. I'm just afraid it'll get too popular and I won't find a place to sit and work when I'm not using the drive thru.
