  • If I could leave 0 stars I would. Consider the star negative 4 stars. This is the worst place I have ever lived. When I first applied I asked them if there was anything to worry about as far as crime in the area and they told me that it was a quiet and safe. Within a week of living there I found out they were infested with roaches. The police are in the apartments everyday because of crime. Someone was shot in the apartments and the police told me I should break my lease and move as soon as possible. When I brought my concerns to the office they made it seem like the police and I are just exaggerating. My neighbors window was broken into, my door had been attempted to be kicked down, and my apartment was egged. Drug deals right out side my door. Maintenence never fixed anything. Trash was everywhere everyday. They charge you common area maintenance fees that vary each month so you never know what your bill will be and it doesn't matter if you don't use the common areas. If the common area fees go up from 6$ one month to 30$ the next and you are 5$ short because you didn't expect it they charge you a 75$ late fee per day. Shayla is the only thing the apartments have going for them, she actually cares and wishes she had more power to help. Everyone else is extremely rude and unprofessional. These apartments are worse than the projects. I finally broke my lease after getting robbed walking outside the apartments and feeling completely unsafe everyday. They charged me $3,000 dollars and tried to say I had a pet when I never did just so they could get more money. I told them to show proof I had a pet and she said she knows how pets smell....mind you I complained about a funky smell coming from the AC that they NEVER came to fix. Worst experience of my life.
