| - Burgers and boozy shakes? I'm totally there.
We stopped in for lunch after reading the rave reviews -- the burgers intrigued the boyfriend, and I was sold on the boozy shakes. There is cute cow decor everywhere, which makes you feel almost a little bit guilty about devouring its friend in burger form.
We sat down at a table by the bar and ordered the Rising Sun burger, poutine with a fried egg, and a Campfire S'mores shake, bam-boozled of course. The Rising Sun is SO on point -- perfectly cooked kobe beef, teriyaki glaze, nori furikake, crispy yam, spicy mayo, & tempura avocado. Is there anything more that you need for a burger? The perfect side of fries? Yes, that's there, too. The poutine was also jam-packed with flavor, but it got to be a bit too salty by the end.
That boozy shake though? The BEST. The magic inside the Campfire S'mores shake includes marshmallow vodka, graham cracker, chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallow, s'mores candy stick, s'mores chocolate balls, chocolate covered graham crackers, vanilla frosting, graham crumble. Oh yes. ALL of that. If there was any time that you wanted to treat yo'self to something sweet, this would be the time to do it. There's just enough alcohol to taste it in the background, but the sugar overload will have you wired regardless. All of their shakes are massive so I definitely recommend grabbing a friend or two to share.
