  • Paradise Valley Mall certainly could use a few more stores, but I would rather go there than deal with the traffic and parking nightmare of the Desert Ridge area ANY DAY!!!! Desert Ridge is all outside and open-air, which is fantastic when the weather is nice, but PV Mall is air conditioned ALL YEAR ROUND!!!! I love the parking structure on the north side of the mall-- you can ALWAYS find a shaded parking space there. The Picture Show movie theater is awesome and the food court is pretty decent with a nice selection of places to eat. I'm not a fan of children, so I rush past the kiddie play area near Penney's. Seems like the kids have a good time playing, though. I think the more business they get at PV mall, the more draw for stores will come... Power of positive thinking anyone???
