  • Happened upon Sushi Hiro on our way for a taco dinner. Surprised my husband suggested we try this new restaurant since he is very leery about eating sushi anywhere other than by the beach. We were greeted with a Japanese welcome by the entire staff when we walked in the door. We decided to sit at the bar for the "sushi bar" experience. We would have been happy at any other seat in the restaurant. The atmosphere was bright, clean and modern. Every dish we ordered was delicious: several sushi varieties, sticky rice, fried calamari, soup, gyoza, and lots of saki. Their sushi presentation is A+++. I would definitely recommend Sushi Hiro to anyone. Another indication of a good restaurant is the restroom - which was clean and modern. As we left, we were sent off with a Japanese goodbye from all the staff.
