  • Friendly, clean and basic. You can't ask for much more from a hotel; I was a little unsure about staying at a "student run" place but the professionalism of the staff put me at ease the minute I checked in. Everything is clean, net and well maintained. This is obviously an important part of the GCU community; in the mornings and the early part of the evenings the cafe and lobby are filled with students and faculty, giving the impression that the place is something of a student center type setup. In no way did it interfere with my stay or keep me up or create any kinds of problems. I accidentally left a mouse in my room and it was found by the hotel staff; they made a point of calling me about it and held it for me at the front desk. I've lost a lot of things in hotel rooms and this is the first time someone has actually called me back about what I'd lost.
