  • I would not recommend nor come back. I came in to do eyelashes and a gel mani. I budgeted 2hrs, but when I got there the tech said it would take 1hr for the lash package I was considering and 1.5hrs for the nails. So she offered for me to have both services done at the same time. That should have been my first flag.. how on earth can I direct her how I want my nails, from choosing a colour and letting her know if the length or shape is okay, without being able to open my eyes?? Not to mention the language barrier. So I ended up just foregoing the lashes and only doing the nails, which I had ample time for. The technician took way too long (1.5-2hrs for removing gel, manicure and applying one colour shellac). The polish application was bumpy and bubbly (see pics). I asked for a pointy almond shape, and after trying to persuade me against it, she agreed to do it how I wanted it but unfortunately the tip of the nail wasn't centered. She then went ahead to say my nail shape is curved abnormally. I had to tell her I want it to look centered from where I'm looking, not where she is looking (some expert techs actually look at ur hand with the back facing her, in order to see from the client's view). The manicure was gentle but really nothing special. We didn't start out with a flat nail bed because she didn't want to file down all of my previous gel base coat because my nail is quite thin underneath, but I'm just waiting for my shellac to fall off sooner than expected because that messes with the adhesion. This probably led to some bumpiness too. There is a language barrier for english speaking patrons (if you want to give your tech specific instructions expect to have to shell out a lot of patience, they are primarily korean speaking). Came here because it was close to my work and prices seemed decent. $32 for gel manicure + $5 to remove previous gel polish from another salon. Lashes were 40+ depending how many per eye. No tax if you pay cash, but no receipt provided. Lady was trying to be friendly in conversation but it was quite unprofessional and inappropriate when she brought up how she wanted to get an rmt license in order to write off facials for her clients (uh, fraud?).
