I got the pleasure of meeting Red the other day at the Fort Apache location. He is definitely a man of integrity and if u ever get a chance to go to him, I would highly recommend it. I had my eyelashes done by another salon, who was great as well, but after several months I developed an allergy to the extensions. I had them taken off and tried again a few months later using the sensitive adhesive, however I had the same reaction. A year later I thought I would try it again at a different salon, hoping maybe they used a different glue. I have told many people when booking appts at different salons of my allergy history, and they have all still booked my appt and said hopefully it won't happen again. However when I met Red, I was getting ready to sit in his chair to have them done again when I gave him my history. He immediately looked hesitant to work on me and explained that he worked for an ophthalmologist and had many years of lash extension experience and that he has seen these allergic reactions before and I probably shouldn't put them back on. I told him I really wanted to try them here and he very politely and genuinely said he could not do the service for me in good faith. He explained that every adhesive has one main ingredient and that's probably what I'm allergic to. He was so sweet and honest with me. He could have still done the service and taken my money but he said he would not feel right knowing I would probably be in pain in a couple days and coming back to have them removed. So I ended up leaving without the service. But I'm very grateful to have met Red because I know in the long run he probably saved my eyes. He's definitely a man of great character and seems to really care about people. And even tho I'm sad I can't get extensions, I'm happy to have met him.
