  • I had a horrible experience with Good Karma Cleaning and when I tried to give them feedback I was given attitude and sass. Not cool. I hired them for a 3 hour clean of a condo in Liberty Village and I actually have no clue what the woman did for 3 hours. They claim to provide their own cleaning supplies but she showed up with a medium sized tote bag. No broom, mop, toilet brush, towels, thank goodness we had those items on site. By the way, they say they're eco friendly, but she used 2 rolls of paper towels (mine, as she didn't bring any) when I provided her with several washable lint free cloths. This particular condo was not overly dirty, but the floors needed cleaning and everything just needed to be wiped down. 600 sqft. The floors were not swept or mopped. Countertops were not touched, as they still had water rings on them. Fridge was covered in smudges. Nothing was dusted. Toilet wasn't cleaned. Microwave and oven were untouched. I could go on and on. I literally have no idea what she did for 3 hours. I had to personally clean the place in order to have it ready for my client. I don't mind cleaning, but if I wanted to clean the place myself, I wouldn't have spent money to hire someone. When I sent them an email with feedback, the person responded by telling me that the he spoke with the cleaning lady and she chose to focus on the bathroom (against my direct orders to focus on the kitchen/living area!). Also that smudges on fridges are very difficult to remove. The bathroom was not touched. Absolutely not cleaned at all. It wasn't messy to begin with, so it was easy to tell that she didn't do anything, as there was just a thin layer of dust on everything. As far as smudges on fridges being hard to remove, I had no problem removing them myself with soapy water. They tout their eco-friendly cleaning products, but if those products can't remove simple fridge smudges, maybe they need to consider using something a bit stronger (or she didn't attempt to clean the fridge at all). I hate leaving reviews this negative, but I was so frustrated by the whole experience. I'm glad there are people that are happy with their service. This was my first ever experience with Good Karma.
