I contacted my home warranty company to have my air conditioning serviced at the start of summer. Unfortunately, I was ill on that date and went to my Doctor. I later received a call informing me that this was considered a "missed appointment" and that I would be charged a $69 fee. I find this a very poor way to do business and needless to say, I did not reschedule. And it's unfortunate as I am considering solar and would have requested a bid from this company. I think the thing that bothered me the most was the punitive and threatening tone.
