  • The Westside Market is this fabulous place in Ohio that has been bringing locals and tourist together under one roof since 1840. It's Cleveland's oldest publicly owned market and it rocks! One side is packed with home grown fruit and vegetable vendors and on the other, it's a meat-lovers heaven. From thick sliced maple bacon to stuffed pork chops, the Westside Market can pretty much cover any meal you've got planned. It's the kind of place where neighbors visit every week to stock up on local goodness and trust me if I lived in this town, this would be my number one spot too! But don't get it twisted, if your not in the market to purchase some fine local produce, there are still plenty of options to choose from. They've got a extremely popular gyro stand (Steve's Gyros), that at any given moment has a line of more than 20 people, sweet and savory crepes at Crepes De Luxe, candy apples and over 50 different flavors of popcorn at Campbell's Popcorn Shop and the list goes on and on. This place was seriously one of the highlights of my Ohio foodie adventure. They are open year round Monday and Wednesday 7am-4pm and Friday and Saturday 7am-6pm. Grab a friend and head on over this weekend- you'll love it!
