This was my second time at this pizza place and it was just as good as I remembered. My girlfriends and I decided to go to Magpie after our plans to go to an art gallery event flopped. I was not disappointed. The Bloody Caesar was so good and had the right amount of spices in it. Now for the pizza I was debating between the sausage pizza (sausage mozzarella, blue cheese , red peppers, red onion and tomatoes sauce) or the goat cheese pizza (goat cheese, pancetta , arugula, basil and tomato sauce) and the waitress said both were good but that the former was more American and the latter was more Italian. In the end she suggested I take the sausage pizza and I was very happy with my decision. The pizza was juicy and outright delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that the chili oil actually had a kick to it. We shared a bottle of pinot grigio and did a shot with the waitress. It was a good night. :) I like that they give lollipops when you pay rather than the usual mint or wrapped candy.... it's original.
