  • Holy mixologists! You were my best friends on Friday night, however, I highly disliked you Saturday morning. You guys don't play around. So, the rumors are very true. The drinks cost $15 a piece... BUT and this is one hell of a BUT (hence the caps) the strength of said "over-priced" drinks are absolutely NO JOKE. I could only hold down one and it was a margarita for christ's sake! As a previous bartender in Chicago, I used to always giggle when the term "mixologist" came about. Nope. Now I get it. If only I had friends capable of mixing these fabulous concoctions.. I'd be a happy girl. My liver, not so much. It took me three weeks to finally get my reservation. I shot over the text and received a quick response. Gave my full name and number of attendees joining me... and then proceeded to post a picture of my reservation all over instagram bragging. Had to! :-) About five minutes before arriving, I shot them another text (as requested) saying that I was, well, five minutes away. The hostess with the mostest met me at the end of the bar in Commonwealth and then escorted us in! I followed the no picture policy as I was a virgin to LR and wanted to ensure I'd be invited back. The decor is very hip and fun and the crowd was very chill. So chill that it made you want to sit back and enjoy every sip of your yummy beverage. No drunk dorks or people getting out of pocket... A rarity in Las Vegas. Another gem downtown, for sure. Not only did I fall in love with the experience, my fiancĂ© was all over it and has already made reservations for this Wednesday. Can't wait to go back and take friends from out of town.
