  • woke up to the screeching sound of my alarm.. sun was already out to greet me as I remembered why I had chosen to wake up at such an ungodly hour.. D O N U T B A R .. It was my first time & I heard this place was the place to be for donut lovers, which I am. Drove over to a still sleepy yet incredibly sunny downtown LV where I parked in an empty parking lot.. The heat was already starting to sear the air in my car.. I had gotten there a bit early to my surprise so it was about 11 minutes before I made my way to the entrance. I walked and turned the corner as the low murmur of the crowd awaiting reached my ears. There must have been about 7-9 people in front of me.. And by the time Donut Bar opened their door- I was no longer last, but found the line had started to wrap around the corner I had turned on earlier.. People made their way in and I trailed behind. As I stepped in, I relished in the coolness that hit me (thanks A/C). Then I saw the sight before.. Donuts, all shapes and sizes.. All different from each other and so many to choose from. But the one that caught my eye was the classic strawberry donut, you kno with the whip cream and blueberries and the stuff sits in between two halves of a donut. Oh yeah, that's the one. I got my goods and saw that the line had only grown even longer.. And I was immediately thankful for the rude yet early awakening. I sat outside in the little courtyard and ate the delicious thing. I could NOT even finish it- it was so giant and so good.. It was quite overwhelming ! But it was so worth. I left feeling stuffed but so happy. If you're ever around, pay this place a visit and set your alarms because you will want to come here to try their vast array of donuts. Service is speedy, efficient & awesome. Prices are more than reasonable. And donuts are FANTASTIC.
