  • I would've given 4 stars if not for the actual car I received. The self check in machine is really convenient. It was a bit frustrating not to have the option to decline all additional coverage. They "upgraded" us to a standard car since no more mid-size left. It was late and dark and the interior light didn't turn on. The car smelled smoky which is normally a deal breaker but I figured this is Vegas and there is no escaping it. That was until the next day I saw a big cigarette burn in the passenger side seat. I wasn't going to do much driving so I didn't bother trying to exchange the car. My main concern was that they didn't try to blame me when I returned the vehicle. Upon return I pointed out the burn to Fernando. He was understanding and apologetic. I'd suggest the cleaning crew pay a bit more attention. The cigarette burn was obvious in the daylight (or if they had bothered to turn on the interior light). Overall I'd recommend Alamo and will rent from them again.
