| - This morning, I made a early run to traders Joes on Eastern for a some breakfast stuff, but I got there a half hour before they opened because my nephews played a prank on me, and moved my alarm clock an hour ahead. Thanks Cam :) So I looked across the street, and went to Half Shell because I wanted to see what is happening on Hurricane Irene, and it was the nearest place opened with television.
I went there a few times to watch a free televised UFC fight, and always ordered those huge nachos; yes, there big, and tasty, but if I tried eating that at 735 am, I would be in ingestion heaven for the rest of the day. I walked into the bar, and the bartender told me about their new breakfast special the restaurant is running. Entire breakfast menu was 2.99! All of sudden that early morning wake up didn't seem too bad at all. So I order the Applewood smoked Bacon and eggs, and it was cooked perfectly as I asked them too, but the homestyle potatoes was the highlite of the meal. It was crispy, but not greasy, and for 2.99. What the heck, it was a great deal. I'm not sure how long they will have this breakfast special, but I'm headed to the other location on Horizon because it's nearer to my house, and running the same special.
