  • The best fried chicken I've had in a restaurant! I came here without a reservation on a weeknight and it was the best decision I've made in a while. The fried chicken plate with collard greens and mac and cheese was the best meal I've had in a while. The greens were perfectly cooked and had a very smokey and sweet flavor that left me wanting more! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Charlotte. In addition to the great food this restaurant is also a non-profit. All of the profit goes to furthering the restaurants mission "to raise funds to feed the spiritual and physical needs of those who have the least in our community and to train and equip those previously unemployable in the restaurant trade." Amazing food and a MISSION!
