| - I came here yesterday night to see zedd's true colours tour. It was held here, inside the exhibition place. Parking was a breeze, and we had no trouble with that. $14 flat rate, which is somewhat cheaper than most venues and places downtown that charge up to $30.
MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT OF THE NIGHT: the fucking security. I get that you have to be strict on what you can and cannot bring in. I get it. I've been to raves, here and in the USA. I get that this is a 16+ event and kids do dumb shit. BUT BE CONSISTENT WITH WHAT YOU KEEP OUT. Our security guard was a cunt, and took away my gopole (it's like a selfie stick, but it's for a go pro).. I know sometimes they do that, but I saw some other people take in pointy flags!??!!? Isn't that a bigger danger than a freaking go pro selfie stick?!!? They also told me "no glowsticks" and took away my LED bracelet. Even when I told her it's not a glowstick and it's battery operated & I can just turn it off, the stupid girl told me "no things that light up" .. I AM 100% SURE THIS IS NOT A RULE IN A RAVE. What about my LED shoes that I walked in with? What about the long glow tubes people had?? What about the fucking glow stick bracelets that the couple beside me had?!?! Literally, the security are fucked.
The venue is pretty big and the floor area is large and spacious. I don't know how it filled up to, because I was pretty much in the front row. There were a lot of GA seats though, obviously. At the end, it was pretty messy trying to leave the floor because they only opened up one staircase when there were numerous ones.. are you kidding?
Staff is highly disorganized but I like the venue overall! The security inside were very helpful as opposed to the ones doing body checks. They kept checking up on everyone and at one point handed out free water when they saw everyone losing energy between sets.
