| - Dirty, run down, crap facilities = not worth the price.
Checked in as part of a national conference, hosted at hotel. I really expected more of a Wyndham, and have had great experiences with their other properties. This place was a DUMP.
Started with the look of the building, inside and out: can you say "stuck in the 70s"?
Front desk was friendly enough, especially when I basically demanded they change my room. First room had no internet (wired or wireless), smelled of old cigarettes (it was nominally - and most likely very recently - "smoke free")and cheap room spray, had dirty sheets, and was just... skanky. Next room was actually clean and didn't smell of desperation, and the 1992 ethernet chord worked, but no wireless. Really pretty idiotic for a hotel trying to get conference and business travelers.
There is no pool, the fitness room is more like a closet, and the restaurants are all crap. Seriously, for the price I would stay just about anywhere else in the downtown area and avoid this hotel. Or save a bunch of money and get better amenities at a Holiday Inn.
