Went here during restaurant week. I think the staff may have been a bit overwhelmed. Service was on the slow side but still friendly and good. Slow service is what made me go three stars. Willing to try again though because....the food! Brought smiles and joy to my Polish heart. I got pierogi, elk stew and their house special macaroon desert. Girlfriend got different pierogi, pork and coconut chocolate layer cake. The flavor a brought me right back to my Granny's kitchen when I was a little kid. The pierogi are legit. Spot on. I wish they had kraut but they had run out. The pork was well cooked and flavorful. The elk stew nicely seasoned with just the right hint of gaminess to remind you it wasn't beef. Girlfriend loved the cake. The macaroon whipped cream orange tower of deliciousness was perfect. Best desert I've had in a while. Looking forward to coming back and trying their golumpki!
