  • Strip mall restaurants always scare me...but it's Charlotte so there aren't many options. The "Spectacular" Factor died along with any soul this place could have had when they decided to set up shop next to a bank. It's not really a horrible joint, but it's underwhelming. The service is blah, the food is blah. There were tons of blue-hairs eating in there when I went, it was like a cafeteria at the rest home. The owners seem authentic enough, but they just don't seem to give their food that extra oomph. It's almost like a diner, but with Thai food.
