  • First visit: Classic, old school steak & chop house. Entry is through the kitchen. Glad I knew that ahead of time or I would have thought I walked in the wrong way. Obviously nothing to hide. Immediately greeted by staff. Bar takes pride in their martinis. They did not disappoint.. Our party of 4 was seated promptly at reserved time. Server was friendly. Decor is red felt wall paper and dark wood. Like I said, classic. Waiters in white shirts & black slacks. Appetizers were solid: Raw oysters on the half shell, crudités, crabcake, spinach-artichoke dip. Service was OK. It was Saturday night and they were out of the pork chop. Unacceptable. Then the ribeye I received was incredibly tough. Very disappointing. I'd give this place another shot if someone else wanted to take me, but I wouldn't go on my own.
