  • pros: - brown-sugar-filled, chewy boba - original flavor is to die for - fast, friendly service - adjustable sweetness level cons: - some drinks taste artificial - recent name change bottom line: best boba in the tempe/phoenix area. different place, same story--my parents moved to AZ, so i immediately was on the hunt for the best boba place in a ten mile radius from their house, and along comes bubble bee. the boba pearls are fantastic, having the perfect chew and perfect sweetness. and while i'm not crazy about their fruit flavors since they taste a little processed, their milk teas are smooth, creamy, rich, and natural, especially 'the original'. this is a small, and very nitpicky point, but i'm not a fan of their new name. 'fat straw' just worked, but maybe the connotation of unhealthiness didn't jibe with most. anyhow, enough griping; go here and enjoy your tub of delicious boba.
