Admittedly, my friends and I were trying to go another place that didn't have room, so we ended up at La Comida for a quick dinner.
I love the wood paneling and decor. And where have you last seen a swing at a bar?
I started with the Siempre Caliente margarita ($12), which included passion fruit and hot sauce. It was tasty, and I liked the kick.
My husband got the Camaron Al Maya tacos, which had shrimp, cabbage, mango, jalapeno cream, and hot salsa ($13). It was definitely my favorite thing at the table; the sweet and salty were nicely balanced, and the shrimp was cooked well. I got the sea bass frito a la baja tacos. They just weren't as flavorful or balanced.
This spot definitely seems like a good place for a group and chill gathering.
