  • If I'm going to Vegas, this is where I want to stay. I've stayed at several other places along the strip and regardless of the Wynn being a bit far from the center of the strip, this is by far my favorite place. First, the standard rooms are incredible. I suppose the theme is "big". The room itself is big as are the windows and bathroom. There is a couch and table and great televisions - in the bedroom and bathroom. The pool is awesome-sauce. Get up early to snag your chair and nap as needed. There is a topless pool, too if you're into that. A word to the wise: sunblock is uber expensive at the shops, so bringing your own is strongly advised. The buffet is incredible. It's pricey, but it does not disappoint. If it's in your budget, definitely go for it! A booking tip: Use Hotwire. You will know it's the Wynn if you select the 5-star hotel with a golf course on the North Strip...it's the only one. We got our room for $105 per night.
