  • The Humble Lion is a much welcomed addition to an otherwise morbid section of Sherbrooke. The coffee/ espresso is good and the ambiance in the cafe is great for chatting with friends. I come in once every couple of weeks, mostly because the coffee here is not cheap (but it is high quality.) Conveniently located near my office, I have two gripes with this spot- first, cueing while waiting for your order is a bit awkward especially if the place is busy. Secondly, however, I have never received my drink in the order corresponding to when it was placed. For some reason I always have to wait extra while people who ordered after me are served. I don't know if this is a fluke. Perhaps it is because I don't embody the same 'humble' appearance as others in the cafe. This probably contributes to why I don't stop in more frequently. If you don't mind a consistent blow to your ego, I would recommend this place.
