This Euro-esque cafe has been on the list since inception. Planned an early Friday night dinner with no problem grabbing a table for two. Not an expert on it, but the menu had a heavy Polish influence. Started with a Pittsburgh fav - pierogis, but vegan style with greens, mushrooms and spices. Topped with a tangy sauce, scallions, and shredded beets. They were good and the price was fair. Endive with prunes and mushrooms was a tasty starter. Not something you'll find on other local menus. My favorite dish was the lentil stuffed cabbage in a zesty tomato sauce with crispy cabbage on the side. All dishes had a classic foundation with a vegan and crafty touch. Topped off the meal with a bourbon, plum, and sage cocktail. Not as strong as is like but tasty. Will come back again, especially for the Golabkis!
