  • My husband and I are fosters and adooters. We like to come in to the APL every weekend and take some pictures and maybe a video or two of the animals and post it on our social media pages. In hopes it will help the animals fins a home. I hate to see any creature in a cage. The staff here is amazing. The compassion they have for the animals is just heart warming. I'm always greeted with a smile. I really wish I could rescue them all!. Last Christmas we did get our Corgi/blue heeler from this spacific location and she's been the most amazing addition to our family. She's my little spit fire! We also had our GSD microchipped at the same time and they were gentle and took great care of my baby. The shelter is always clean and the volunteers are very special people. If you haven't. I would just go in and spend some time with a dog or cat. You'll make their day. Trust me.
