  • We used them as a travel agent for our wedding this April and we regret it immensely. Picking out a resort was a chore because she didn't read the fine print about each one she sent me info about, and didn't meet our criteria. Laurie makes tonnes of mistakes and refuses to apologize for them or even admit when she's wrong, mistreats and was outright rude to a few of my guests (both of which were family members) Once you give her your money you hear from her even less. It took 6 weeks for her to get back to a wedding guest. Destination weddings are not stressful at all. The only stressful part of our wedding was dealing with this woman. She made promises she couldn't / wouldn't keep, didn't explain herself thoroughly about the billing process, and was just outright a huge pain in the butt to deal with. A friend of mine went with Marlin Travel and is already having a WAY better experience with her representative.
