| - Shady and unprofessional-I will never step foot in this store again. I don't use Sprint for cellular service, but I've thought about it and my husband needed a new phone case. So I stopped in, found a good protective phone case for his phone and went to buy it at the counter. The younger guy at the counter (Faadel) said they don't except cash, but I assured him I have the exact amount. For whatever reason he said he'd give me discount to make it an even $30 for the case. Thinking this was odd, I gave the cash and figured I'd get a receipt. Well, conveniently, the printer was not working and he quickly said he could email a receipt to me. (I later found out my "sale" wasn't even recorded in the computer system.) After I left and was shopping around, I kept checking but I got no emailed receipt. Ultimately finding out before leaving the mall it wasn't even the right case for my husband's phone anyway, I stopped back in the store an hour later before heading home. It was temporarily closed for inventory for 10 mins, which was another weird red flag to me in the middle of a shopping day. After waiting, I went in and another guy was by himself at the counter. He (Travon) at first said they don't do returns at all, but after telling him what had happened and that I still hadn't received a receipt, he was trying to work with me. Long and very frustrating story short, an hour passes and the guy that sold me the case had to drive back to the store (I don't know why the manager was not available, but I heard multiple stories about that as well.) He came in with attitude and no apology or recognition of me even being there. Not only that or having any sympathy for my time wasted, he wanted to complain how he had to come back and is missing class because of me. He asked for my card to put back "refund" since the money was supposedly in a lockbox and without a manager, a card was the only fastest way (since I wasn't going to leave and never be able to return this case again)- yet the amount was $28.07. I said I paid $30 cash remember, and he tried to explain how I magically wouldn't receive the $2 cause of a discount he gave, but never told me the discount was actually that amount and I wouldn't get change back. It's all shady and confusing and he ended up refunding $26 back to my debit card (I was nervous and untrusting as this situation proved to be) and he pulled $5 from his own wallet. I'm not trying to take money from this employee just to "be done with this" as he said, I just wanted my money back that I gave to the business (if the business even received it?) This doesn't seem legit or orthodox for a reputable store location to conduct business this way. I had wasted so much time and just wanted my money back and to go home. Travon took my name and number for further investigation into this and was doing the best he could in a situation he wasn't involved in besides working there and said corporate would be contacting me (they haven't yet). I still feel uncomfortable with this outcome and scared to go near this store or anything to do with Sprint again. Don't ever buy anything without a receipt or proof given!!
