  • What a beautiful day :) I woke up to another great Las Vegas morning, crawled out of bed, took a shower, brushed my teeth, and ran to my car....then things went down hill fast; I had a blown out tire, and I had to be at work within a few minutes. I ran to my trunk, and popped out the spare tire. I changed out that tire with a speed that a NASCAR crew would have been proud to see. At that point, I slowly drove to work, and shockingly got there in time. Since I was only covering a co-worker, I got out a a few hours later, and then heading out to get my tire replace. Another mile, then that darn doughnut tire shredded to pieces. After waiting 30 minutes for the AAA tow truck to come, and I realizing that Discount tires was closest place around, and was only two miles away. I told the tow truck driver to head to that location, instead of the Lake Mead/Boulder Hwy store....Luckily, I very happy we did. Even before we got there, I pulled up some tire on-line tire prices on my HTC (don't buy one of these crappy phones, but it has a great big screen ) and walked into Discount Tires newest location in the Las Vegas valley. They showed me their selection that they had, and then I asked them if they would price match an online price (which was the cheapest you can find) for four tires. The ASM was happy to price it, and I got my price that I wanted. I guess they made their profit from installtion and tire warrenty that I usually get anyway. This location is super clean, and even has a free popcorn, ice water for all of their customers. I have admit, that Popcorn machine was very nice touch, and made some theater quality stuff, but what shocked me the most of all...NO ONE REALLY KNOWS of this location, and I got all four tires installed in twenty minutes. Service was great, and this became my new favorite tire store.
