  • It was okay... I'm definitely more of a Cirque Du Solei gal and have been for a long time. I think my party and I started out a bit bitter as well since our friends got VIP tickets from some event and we had to buy our tickets. 60 a piece after a discount with really crappy seats left us kind of apathetic to the whole show. If you're into musicals you may greatly enjoy this, but I got kind of bored at some parts. I also was not super familiar with the history of Las Vegas, but my friend said he was not very impressed with the Cher and Elton John impersonation. I have a lot of respect for all the performers who did their parts but I wasn't really blown away by much of the singing. Also one of the performers who did what they called "acrobatic moves" (hint: there was no big acrobatic moves--unless you count juggling and hula hooping) who messed up about 3 or 4 times. And they became very obvious unfortunately that he was messing up. Had our friends not desperately asked us to come to this show we probably would have preferred to see something else. It just wasn't our style unfortunately and to be honest we were pretty excited to leave early and head over to Houdini's to see some magic tricks. If you're into musicals and you have an interest in LV history then come watch it, but keep in mind that the general admission seats can be pretty crappy and they're also pricey. I'd say for the price it's certainly not worth it.
