It's hard for me to compare this place to others since I'm new to the world of personal grooming. Hey, I have good hygiene but I just don't really care about having fancy looking fingernails and toenails.
I like cooking, getting the dirt from mushrooms under my nails, picking my nose, long walks in the park. i'm kidding. i know this is veering way off topic. you just want the goods.
Well, first off, they didn't have me booked in even though I booked it a month before. The girl at the reception desk could get a few lessons in customer service as she seemed more interested in yammering on the phone (and not to other clients). She also decided to flip through magazines while I was waiting to settle up my bill.
The lady who did the mani/pedicure was very nice though. Very quick and pain-free. I let her know that I have an aversion to getting my cuticles pushed back and that awful feeling of the nail file scraping against my nail like nails scraping against a chalkboard (blech!). We all have our weird quirks about what makes us squeamish, right?
I'm sure there's better places out there but if you're wandering the area and you feel your nails could use some tender loving care, pop into this place.
