My co-worker told me to try this place when I mentioned I wanted to try a Latin bakery. It's on my way home so I said why not. When i pulled up, i saw that they have other locations around the city. At the time of my visit there was a lady behind the counter and it was apparent she didn't understand my English. I tried to be a big girl and appear that I knew what I was Looking for...but I didn't. I was confused because nothing was labeled. I pointed at a pastry that looked like it may have cheese on the inside and asked if it did, and she nodded yes. I should have said 'queso' cause it didn't have cheese in it... but it was still good. I realized that the metal trays and tongs on the back table are for you to pick out your own food. After your selection, you take it to the register to pay. My total after tax was $3. Great deal! I would definitely return but with my coworker as my interpreter.
