  • One of my favorite upscale Mexican food restaurants in Scottsdale for sure! Their rustic decor makes for a romantic and intimate setting, and their Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita is the best I've ever had! We tried some if the Warmed Goat Cheese, with roasted peanuts, the Coconut Calamari (best calamari steak ever) and their Grilled Sweet Corn, all of which were outstanding! They also bring out a black been puree mixed in with roasted tomatoes that's very tasty. I also tried a few of their tacos, the Filet & Shrimp El Jefe Taco (my least favorite tbh, didn't taste like filet that's for certain), the Short Rib on Blue Corn Tortilla Taco (definitely my favorite) and their Canarditas Duck Taco (a deep-fried duck leg confit on a tortilla, build-your-own style) that was different. We were do full and happy after, which is the best and the worst feeling ever haha we'll definitely be back.
