Visited Erin Park Lexus without an appointment to look at the 2015 CT and had to wait about 15 minutes for someone available to see me. Not a big issue because the receptionist kindly offered coffee while we waited.
I let the Sales person know I was looking at the CT and got some background information on the car before being taken to his desk and asked about whether I wanted to finance or lease. Upon saying finance, the sales rep proceeded to break down all of the costs for leasing and why it's better. I'm just at the beginning stages of looking for cars right now! I don't care about financing vs. leasing. I need to pick a car before I do so.
The rep finally goes to find us a car to test drive and I'm put in 2011 CT. That's right, a USED car with 80k on it. There was a brand new CT on the lot, which the rep said they had just gotten in, but apparently putting potential customers in used cars when they want to buy new is how this dealership thinks it is going to get sales.
Fine, let's test drive this car. Half way through the test drive, the rep gets a call on his phone and says we need to be back at the dealership in 5 minutes because he has another customer waiting.
This dealership obviously doesn't care at all about having me as a customer. Rest assured, the feeling is mutual and I will never return.
