  • This place is great. If you like seafood, Either shellfish or fish itself, your in for a treat. Stations Casinos have a few of these places, 2 others that I've seen, 1 at Palace Station, the other being at Green Valley Ranch, I have never eaten at any of them, but a friend of mine had eaten at the Palace station place, and raved about it. So we figured why not try this one out at Sunset. Great choice!!!! The menu isn't overly big, but I still had a hard time figuring out what to order because everything looked great, either on the menu, or being cooked and served next to us. After going back and forth, we both decided on the Seafood Gumbo. It can be ordered 4 different was, choices are Shrimp, Lobster, Oyster, or everything. I might be off on the options, but it's very close to that. Anyway, it was great, at least 8-10 large shrimp, nice lobster chunks, and plenty of chicken and sausage. The serving size is big. Just think of a cereal bowl and multiply it by 4, that's the serving size. Now, I'm a big man, and can eat, but it couldn't finish my serving. I tried, very hard, but could only get down about 65%. The rest was take home for my dinner. As far as cost, very reasonable for what your getting, any seafood out here is way overpriced, but I also come from the east coast, and I grew up paying $3-$5 per lobster, not by the pound. So my opinion on pricing is a little off, but as far as this place goes, there cheap com paired to other casino places I've been to here. Service was great, food was great,,and prices were great, can't ask for anything more!!! A couple other things I wanted to mention, I noticed that everything I saw was FRESH!!! No odd smells, or dirty areas, everything is fresh and clean. I forgot to say everything is cooked right at the bar, so you can see everything being used and cooked in front of you, unless your sitting at one of the lower tables. Another point is I noticed lots of locals coming in and ordering stuff to go. That speaks volumes here in Vegas. For a few reasons, one being, most people aren't going to a casino just to get Clam Chowder to go. I counted 5 different locals coming in and doing that. You can get that same item probably at 15 different places on the way to the casino!!!! Much easier, and in much less time. That is enough for me to want to do the same next time I want there food. It's a real pain in the rear parking your vehicle, walking a half a mile to the Bar, and then repeating the trip back out. So, if people are doing that, than it must be good. That's it for me, check this place out, if you like this type of food, your going to really like this place. Enjoy.
