With the construction project in downtown Fountain Hills coming to an end, we decieded to visit the area. From the outside it does not look very elegant, with metal paito furniture and palm frond palapas. We asked a couple seated outside if the food was any good. They said yes enthusiastically and we sat down and enjoyed happy hour appetizer - avocado and tomato salad and street corn elote, followed by a dinner of grilled asparagus and pork pernil. Pleasant service and really good flavors - not too spicy, just savory and delicious. Somebody in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Fountain Hills has a handful of good restaurants, but so far, this one would be my favorite.
