| - Visiting my daughter for her college graduation, we needed some breakfast before heading back to Minnesota. Found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. It's a cute place, very clean and diner-type interior, but not very big. That's not a problem at all, but if you have a bigger group it would be more challenging.
We got a corner booth and while we waited for my daughter and her friend to arrive we enjoyed an order of bacon and a biscuit (we were hungry!). The bacon was cooked well and very tasty, and the biscuit was as well...flaky, nice flavor enough that we actually just ate it plain...no butter...no honey or jam. They offer biscuits and gravy and it's great because they also have a half order which is fantastic if you want biscuits and gravy, but a whole order is too much....or you want something else too.
Kids came, and we ordered. The service was OK...kind of detached, but if you flagged her down (she was literally standing about 4 feet away at the register) she would come over. She had the hanit of looking around, but not actually looking at her tables. However she seemed to get s bit better as the visit went on.
I ordered the Corned beef hash (which they make in-house). It had a nice crust, and was well seasoned with a good ratio of potatoes and onions too. The scrambled eggs were perfectly prepared as well. It is very Corn Beefy (not a real word probably) so make sure you like the flavor of corned beef a lot.
My husband had the Greek Skillet which was Fantastic!! Great flavor, very fresh and delicious. Could have used more gyro meat though, but still fantastic! My daughter had the Steak Scrambler (great!), and finally the Veggie Omelette (good flavor, plenty of fresh veggies).
If you look at my reviews I LOVE pancakes...and these were Fantastic!! Fluffy... flavorful....perfectly prepared...SO yummy!!
Great place, fantastic food across the board at our table, and OK service. Oh...coffee...while nice and dark, had little coffee flavor...really my only disappointment other than the service at first but that got better :)
