  • I've read a lot of reviews RE: Dignity Health Urgent Care billing as an Emergency Room visit. Never experienced it myself in the 10+ years I have used this facility, until July. Rarely do I ever get sick (hadn't been sick in close to three years at this point), and came down with what we found out was Bronchitis and an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. Had intended to just lay low and wait it out, but Andrew C. drug my stubborn butt into this Urgent Care when our PCP was booked out for week. Saw Dr. McCrum, who was professional and personable like you expect a physician to be. No chest x-rays or blood was drawn, just the usual examination. Got my prescription, paid the $40 co-pay and went on our merry way. We thought this was the end of it, but a month later we received a bill for $189.50. What was done that warranted $189.50?! I could understand if you took x-rays or did some other procedure, but you didn't. Quick peek at my insurance coverage and a call to Dignity Health, turns out these clowns do bill as an Emergency Room now. Not sure what changed in the past three years because this wasn't the case previously. $40 co-pay and done. You people have some big, BIG testicles to use Dignity in your name. Apparently if you're a 100% insured woman in America today, Bronchitis and an infection will run you up over $300. Ain't nobody got time for that! Money Grubbing Scumbags, Incorporated is more fitting for your organization, at least on the billing side. Consider this my F*CK OFF with a flash mob farewell. Congratulations, you just lost a 15 year loyal Customer - Yes, CUSTOMER, because you sure as heck don't treat us like patients. Oh and please kill your "Hello Humankindness" marketing campaign, and time to get rid of the marketing team who put that out. Rule number one of a re-brand: You can't be on the outside what you aren't on the inside. Perfect case study of this, you scumbags. Next time I'll just drive to Chandler Regional Medical Center if I want to pay Emergency Room rates. Another thing: I have noticed many Yelpers have written a review or posted pictures for the Dignity Health General Hospital / Emergency Room across and down the street from this Urgent Care. Please move those to the proper business page, kthx.
