| - I love coming here to get groceries. You can get sushi grade fish, usually they have salmon, tuna and yellowtail. If they don't have what you want, ask the staff politely and they will pack one up for you, and even give you extra ice in a bag to keep it chill. I've been getting the sushi fish here for years and never got sick, very fresh. The price isn't too bad, just a little higher compared to the Asian grocery stores at Spring Mountain, and I feel they have a cleaner and higher quality attitude towards food which is super important if you're buying raw fish. In the freezer you can get unagi, mackerel, even ikura and masago (really expensive though). Go to the next aisle, pick up some sushi rice, vinegar and seaweed and you can make your own sushi bowl at home. I would get the frozen stuff like ikura, masago, mackerel and unagi from other Asian grocery stores though, as they are few dollars cheaper. It's the fresh fish that I insist on buying from this store.
All kinds of other Japanese ingredients I don't know much about. Prepared food and fresh ingredients. Some sake and drinks like Calpico. All are more expensive, but even the eggs are imported from Japan. These guys are very authentic.
A decent selection of snacks, including green tea Pocky, mochi and other stuff. Some selection of household and everyday things, some DVDs, children's stuff, but not too much schlocky anime/Oriental/cheap gift stuff. Don't come here if that's what you're looking for.
A small selection of Asian makeup and hair products. They have Hero mascara, Cure Natural Aqua Gel, some sheet masks, eyeliner, Tsubaki shampoo/conditioner etc. I think you can get these cheaper online though.
I haven't tried their cooked food or bento boxes before, but it looks good! Right next door is Monta ramen, a perfect end to your shopping!
