Oh my Gosh! Where to start:
1. We made a reservation online to speed up the rental process when we landed (which was late ~10:30pm). The line for people with reservations was so long and SLOW, while the line for walk ups went by faster. It took 30 mins waiting in line before we got up to the front desk (we were 3rd in line). By the time we made it to the front, the line behind us grew to about 13 customers.
2. We reserved a RAV4 and paid for a RAV4 but the guy helping us went to the back for another 20 minutes and came back to tell us they didn't have any and gave us a Camry instead. What's the point in reserving a specific vehicle if it wasn't an option or the vehicle type/model wasn't being held??
3. We got to the numbered spot he gave us and the car was a Kia Optima, not a Toyota Camry. Ugh, so incompetent....I was really frustrated.
This also happened to us at a Budget car rental in Orange County earlier this year. We've FINALLY learned never to use Budget again.
