Service was super slow. We were waiting for at least a good hour for our food and there were no updates or apologies for the slow service. We were also probably the last people to leave for the night. I think we got in around 8pm, we didn't leave til about 10pm. It's a good thing the food made up for the service. I ordered the jumbalaya and my boyfriend ordered the gumbo. His friend ordered the chicken strips with fries. Overall, we really enjoyed our food. The jumbalaya had quite a kick to it. It was really spicy. I tasted some of the gumbo and it was also quite tasty. Prices were reasonable considering it is Vegas and off the strip.
A few things to note. My boyfriend and his friend are both blind. He doesn't need you to help him put a straw in his cup, especially when he says that he is fine. Please don't assume someone needs or wants your help just because they have a disability. Ask before doing. I know you just want to help but trust me the person will appreciate it more if you ask before helping them.
If the service was faster, I'd probably give this place a higher rating. It was also a little bit tucked away. Our Uber driver had to make a Uturn.
