  • My daughter and I went there at the end of December to try to make a good deal on either a new lease or a buy out of her existing lease. We had done our homework and called the dealership several times with questions regarding a new lease or a buyout and purchase of the existing vehicle. The response from the dealership was either no response or come in and we will have your questions answered. We asked for the information we requested to be ready when we got there and we made plans to go there in two days. In the meantime we identified as specific vehicle that we were interested in on the Jay Honda web site. My daughter had talked to the manager on the phone but when we got there, we were given off to the salesman who had been unresponsive on the phone. Not surprisingly, none of the information we had requested was available. The salesman said the sales manager was working on it. In the meantime which took well over an hour he showed our daughter the car which we were interested in. It was a 2017 CR-V EX model. It was the last EX model they had available. We had the price from the web site and expected to negotiate down from there as it was the end of the year and expecting the dealer to be motivated to clear out their inventory. After the salesman and my daughter got back from a test drive, we again asked for the information which we had requested but was still told the sales manager was working on it. We then asked for the lease price for the vehicle we had looked at. We were astonished at what the sales man quoted us. He told us that the vehicle had a bunch of extras and that increased the price. We said the car was advertised on the internet at a specific price and to now quote a higher price was a bait and switch tactic which was illegal. We demanded to see the sales manager. He did come and tried to explain the situation but it was pretty clear that they were not interested in selling that car on that day. I gave this 2 stars only because the sales manager spent time trying to clarify the situation but in reality this experience was awful and would not recommend this business to anyone. It's amazing they sell any cars with this kind of customer service and dubious tactics.
