rev:text	I NEVER complain or write reviews however my recent transaction with Cookies by Design was not a positive one. I ordered a cookie bouquet for my Mom to cheer her up. My Grandma (her mom) recently passed away and my mom had always sent cookie bouquets, so I decided to send her one to lift her spirits. I ordered online in Feb 4th , the order was to be delivered on the 8th. I got a confirmation email etc. my Mom lives in Wickenburg and I was assured that they do in fact deliver to that area. Well on the 8 th the bouquet was not delivered as scheduled , on the 9th I called and left a message and Dale called me back. He said they were sent from their shop and once they left their delivery person it was "out of their hands". Ummm no! This is your business, it is your responsibility to ensure whoever is delivering your product is upholding your ethics and customer service values. Come to find out they were shipped to the Wickenburg post office and left on their side in the PO box. My Dad had to DRIVE in to town , to the post office to get the story from the postal worker who informed me they had been shipped directly to the post office. I was told they had tried to deliver and there was no answer. All I got was "sorry for any miscommunication" , and a dad who had to save the day by rushing up to the post office. That takes away the whole experience of getting a delivery. If you can't deliver you should exclude that area from your places that are available for delivery. Was very disappointed and will not order again unfortunately.
