| - I recently saw 'SULLY' at the RPX theater, and was absolutely blown away! The sound was very detailed and realistic, with excellent spatial cues going from left to right, front and back, as well as above and below. As a longtime audiophile, I can appreciate the high resolution and timbral accuracy in watching films as well as listening to music on a great system. Some of the best public audio experiences in theaters throughout the decades have been through custom made, hi-efficiency horn loaded speakers (like the kind JBL makes in their high-end line), and it sounded to me as if at least some of this technology was incorporated into the RPX sound. Visually, the picture was stunning and realistic. During shots of the Hudson River, NYC, and the Palisades Cliffs on the New Jersey side (including the George Washington Bridge), it felt as if I was really looking out the window of that Airbus 320 as it was descending rapidly!
