I have had a few experiences with ED Marshall's.
While my wife was getting a ring cleaned...at no charge....she spotted a pair of diamond earrings. They were beautiful and priced fairly. Bought them on the spot.
Some months later, we went back to look at watches, and Hugh Emmer took great care in showing us a huge assortment of times pieces to choose from. They had what we were looking for....and we bought it on the spot. The price was MOST competitive....and they had the item in stock.
I have had them do case cleanings on four of my high-end time pieces. Each time...the piece came back looking like a brand new watch. PERFECT. The price to do that was, again...more than fair.
Three months ago, an unfortunate thing happened while they were installing a battery in a very complicated Omega watch. They offered to send it into the factory for repair....as they had accidentally done some damage to the workings of the time piece. Although it took a long time (not their fault....) the watch came back as new....and without charge.
They more than exceeded my expectations on every occasion I have gone there. My experience is that they can be trusted to do the right thing. They have a great selection....And Peter/Adam in watch repair have great patience. I called them weekly to bug them about the status of my watch at the factory...and they were very understanding and patient with me. I was bordering on being obnoxious about the time it was taking...but that was due to the shop in New York that they had NO CONTROL over.
Marshall's get's my highest rating for they manner in which they do business.
