My boyfriend and I were here to grab drinks and baked goods. It's the perfect location for us to meet when he has to drive to Montreal for work. It's just off the 401 on Kennedy.
There is plenty of parking. We found each other's cars easily and walked into the Starbucks together, which is attached to the Chapters bookstore.
The barista was cheerful and friendly as she took our orders down. I went with a mint majesty tea with honey and a cinnamon swirl coffee cake. He had a black coffee with a croissant.
This location had plenty of seats. We sat near the corner, sipped our drinks, ate our pastries and baked goods, chatted, and held hands. It's a nice place to spent some time, whether alone using your laptop, or with friends and loved ones.
The odd thing for me was visiting the women's washroom. A woman was in there, who decided to hang her purse and hoodie on a washroom stall door. She proceeded to do her hair and face by the sink, where she had a number of beauty products there. Her actions were weird and inconsiderate. Thank goodness there was another free stall available. This woman hogged a washroom stall that could be freed up for another woman to use.
