| - What can say except that this movie theater is my JAM!
For approximately 2 years now, this is the only theater I've been to. There is another Century theater at Sam's Town that I used to attend more often. I love Century theaters and how in Nevada, they are located inside casinos. You don't have to stand in a line in the sun or rain. They are also better maintained than in other states, getting remodeled or upgraded when they start becoming too raggedy. The bathrooms are regularly being cleaned. It's just the best you can get. I admit I prefer the fabric seats, but the faux leather is fine enough and I couldn't care less if they recline.
I also find this Century theater to be much less crowded--maybe because most people are at South Point Hotel and Casino to do other things like gamble, play slots, eat, bowl, attend a rodeo, etc.
I don't know how the "night" crowd is because I never watch movies in the evening. Imo, the matinee times are so much better. I'm wide awake and I am always able to score fresh, delicious popcorn. I cannot handle obnoxious, noisy teenagers, so I'll never take the chance to go at night. So far, so good.
I always park my car in the huge attached parking garage. I also park in the distance, away from other cars--getting in a little more exercise. I enjoy walking through the casino to the Century theater. It's bright and lively... in a good way.
